Recipe of the Month: Pizza Margherita
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- Fresh mozzarella
- Fresh basil leaves
- Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Mix flour, salt, and sugar in a large bowl
- Dissolve yeast in warm water, let stand for 5 minutes
- Mix wet and dry ingredients, knead for 10 minutes
- Let dough rise for 1 hour
- Preheat oven to 450°F
- Roll out dough and add toppings
- Bake for 15-20 minutes
- Add fresh basil and enjoy!
